Kékélé is a band formed in Paris, but the original members are of were from Congo. "Kékélé" means "liana" in Lingala. Its main genre is Congolese rumba or soukous, with a mix of traditional Congolese and Cuban rhythms.

The group was formed in 2001. The whole band has eleven musicians: four singers, three guitarists, a percussionist, a drummer, a saxophonist and an accordionist (the accordion is a typical instrument of Congolese rumba, unlike the Cuban rumba).



Kékélé és una banda musical formada a París , encara que els membres originals són o eren del Congo. "Kékélé" significa "liana" en llengua  lingala. El seu gènere principal és la rumba congolesa o soukous, amb una barreja de ritmes congolesos i cubans tradicionals.

El grup es va formar el 2001. La banda sencera compta amb onze músics: quatre cantants, tres guitarristes, un percussionista, un baterista, un saxofonista i un acordionista (l'acordió és un instrument típic de la rumba congolesa, a diferència de la rumba cubana).

Play & listen - Escolta Khusugtun is a group of classically trained Mongolian folk musicians. They take their inspiration from ancient Mongolian tradition. Khusugtun's performances combine classical western and traditional Mongolian instruments with ancient throat singing melodies(Khöömii).  Khusugtun is a Mongolian band that has developed a contemporary form of Mongolian overtone singing by adding polyphony.
